Golf Instruction for Individuals with Special Needs
Playing golf is a journey of self-discovery and growing self-confidence. The experience can bring a special sense of freedom and joy to children and adults facing physical, intellectual or psychological challenges. Learning a new skill is empowering. Just as importantly, golf connects people socially and enhances their inclusion in the community.
Odyssey Golf Foundation is committed to working with individuals who have special needs. We offer discounted driving range visits and group golf instruction. The goal is for participants to become proficient enough to play the golf course independently, under the supervision of Foundation staff and volunteers, or with their family.
Instructional Golf Sessions
To schedule a session at the Golf Academy call us 708.429.4837 or email us firstname.lastname@example.org.
If any veteran, active-duty military personnel or individual with a disability would like to participate in our golf or driving range programs, but cannot afford to do so, we offer special accommodations. Please contact Mike Hainline at 708-429-7400 Extension 1. Odyssey Charities is dedicated to making sure that veterans, active-duty military personnel and individuals with disabilities can afford to play golf at the Odyssey Golf Foundation.
We also offer other 501(c)(3) charities the opportunity to use the golf course for their own fundraising efforts. The Foundation can arrange special discounted golf outings and driving range events for organizations’ participants.
The Foundation programs are funded through revenue generated by greens fees, sponsorships, partnerships and the generous donations of individuals, groups and corporations.
